Reviews and Ratings
Staying at this hotel was a delightful experience with its charming wood-burning fireplace in the room creating a cozy ambiance, although the rooms are on the pricier side compared to other options. The service was generally top-notch, although there were some slight hiccups in guest-staff interactions at times. The location offers breathtaking views and great privacy, perfect for exploring the beautiful areas nearby. The dining experience was exceptional, with delicious cooked-to-order dishes. Overall, a lovely stay with a few minor drawbacks to consider.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The location is outstanding, directly facing the beautiful coastline and ocean, perfect for enjoying the views. The rooms, however, were disappointing with their small size and older appearance. The staff was friendly and helpful, contributing to a pleasant experience overall.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms I stayed in, 507 and 512, were okay but fell short of my expectations. They did have a fantastic view directly onto the ocean, but the downside was facing Highway 1 directly, which made it much louder than we had anticipated. The staff was not very friendly, and the room felt dated with terrible linens and cleanliness issues. On the bright side, the service was wonderful and the setup for a fire was a nice touch. Interactions with guests could be improved, and there seemed to be a training gap in room service to the client. The location was a mix of beautiful overlooking the Pacific and having a James Bond 1970s movie charm, but the gusty winds up to 80 mph were a notable drawback.
